Well, I tried applying to Spirit Telecom here in Columbia, which is a really nice place to work. They love to hire people from MTC that have their CCNA certification. Well, I have one, so I applied. My brother also applied, but a little earlier than I did.

Well, they interviewed my brother and supposedly they are pretty impressed. He quite possibly has the job already, but he'll know for sure Tuesday. The unfortunate thing is that they don't hire two people that are related. Therefore, I'm already disqualified from seeking a job there.

This kinda sucks because there are 4 openings and 3 people from MTC have gone in for an interview, including my brother. That 4th spot could've been mine...

Oh well, I know there are more companies to work for out there. However, Spirit Telecom was a rather nice place to work. It would've been nice if I could have gone to work there. I was kind of hoping to work at the same place as my brother so the whole "I don't have a car" thing wouldn't suck so bad.

If it comes down to it, I *could* rely on the bus system. However, the bus system in Columbia has been looking rather grim and they can't seem to pull tax dollars to help pay for it. They have been considering cutting bus routes as a result. (This also results in cutting the distance DART vans can go, since they are limited to a certain radius outside of bus route areas.)

On the brighter side, my brother is going to try to give me his job at MTC as lab monitor, which means I can basically get paid a lot better than what I make now and not have all the annoyances that is the PW. I may have to keep the PW job on the weekends, though. I really need as much money as I can get at this point.

Ok, if you go to Hardees' website, you can download an MP3 of a radio commercial they have been doing for a while entitled "Flat Buns". It is quite obviously a spoof off of Sir Mix-A-Lot's "I Like Big Butts" song. Here, the guys are showing their love for "flat buns", and the idea is that there is a double entendre there. Of course, you would have to be a complete fucking moron to not get that.

Well guess what? There's plenty of fucking morons out there because some people think that the TV version "degrades women". Seriously, what the fuck? Some bitch on Fox News was acting like "WELL I AM NOT THINKING OF BURGERS WHEN I SEE THIS COMMERCIAL LOL IT DEGRADES WOMEN AS SEX OBJECTS LOL".

When they payed Paris Hilton (baaaaaaaaarf) to eat a burger while washing a car, THAT was sex advertising (granted, still with a good bit of humor). This? This is simply a parody of a quite popular song. Oh no, they have a girl dancing provocatively, the horror! We never see women being displayed sexually anywhere else on TV. *cough*

If you were offended by this commercial, I have to say, please go kill yourself. I'm sorry, but if you can't realize the commercial is a JOKE, then you don't deserve to live. Any normal guy will look at a commercial like this and laugh because they don't see the woman dancing, they see a bunch of guys making up a silly rap video for a burger joint. Most guys surf porn like there's no tomorrow, and you are telling me that we are getting our rocks off to a burger joint advertisement? You see more skin in just about any retarded MTV music video. Hell, you see more skin on Country Music Television.

Women who are offended by this more than likely:

*Wear makeup or wear clothes that accent their sexual features.
*Flirt with guys they wouldn't consider going out with.
*Make just as many comments about "hot guys" as guys make about "hot chicks".
*Are lured by sexual advertising more than the average person.
*Are of low intelligence.
*NEVER complain about advertisements with half-naked men.
*Are quite possibly married, while still being many of the above.
*Overly Christian, but not too Christian to indulge in non-Christian behavior of their choosing.
*Are lesbians.
*Are butch lesbians.
*Are lesbians that like butch lesbians, which makes you wonder why a girl who likes girls would go out with a girl who looks, talks, and acts like a man (just without the schlong).
*Have no sense of humor, or at least a poor one.
*Are a Feminazi.
